Conclusion

Ecology was an unknown topic when the assignment was first set, it was perceived to be an extremely difficult and complicated task, however it did in fact turn out to be one of the most enjoyable and interesting assignments.
It was decided before the blog was created that all independent research would be done and recorded before entered onto the blog. Once research began ecology was found to be a lot less complex than first perceived.
The research side of the assignment was without a doubt the easiest part of the project, although the most time consuming and it was at this point in the project a great interest was found in Bonobos, this lead to further literature being bought and extra time spent researching and reading up on the species.
However problems became apparent once it was time to create the blog itself, the first blog created was on Weebly but problems were found when it only allowed a certain amount of pages, the next blog created was on WordPress which was found to be too complicated. It was at this stage further research into blogs was undertaken and advice was taken from fellow students on which blog was found to be the easiest use, the decision was made to use blogger, it was extremely easy to understand and transferring the work from word was simple.
The biggest difficulty of the assignment was time planning, as there was a fair deal of time to complete the blog, it would be fair to say that other assignments that needed to be handed in first took priority and a portion of the work was left until the last minute. The final chapter on temporal changes did not receive as much research time as the others although it was felt enough had been done.

Overall the blog was found to be one of the most favourable assignments even though at first it was thought to be unachievable, a feeling of pride on completion was definitely felt!!!!
